This project involved replacing a glazed terrace - which had been installed in the 1970s - with a large sheets of glass to bring light deep into a 7-storey listed building in Chester Square, Belgravia. The interior of the lightwell was redesigned at the same time, with a natural lime plaster wall and glazed screens.
Complex technical issues had to be addressed, such as ventilation requirements to the boiler in the space.
