We refurbished an existing 1960s church to provide an innovative liturgical arrangement: the altar, font and celebrant's chair are disposed in linear fashion down the middle of the church, with the pews facing towards each other.
This arrangement, in contrast to the previous more conventional one, enhanced the feeling of community amongst the congregation and allowed the church to truly live up to its name.
