The following services are provided as an integral part of the architectural service, where necessary or requested by clients:

  • project management: the Association for Project Management APMP qualification within the office backs up our experience in this field with an industry-recognised standard

  • Client Adviser service, registered with the RIBA.  This service is intended to help clients, from the earliest stages of a project, in strategic decision-making, stakeholder consultation, design brief development, budget-setting, feasibility studies, procurement procedures and appraisals of design proposals

  • disabled access design services: we have training and expertise in this area to ensure that the increasingly important issues of accessibility are fully considered and designed

  • contract management, contract law and other legal matters: Austin Winkley & Associates considers that the effective contract management of projects, and an understanding of the legal side of the building industry, is a vital part of our expertise

  • CDM-Coordinator services, which deals with the statutory health and safety aspects of projects

  • consideration of energy efficiency and matters to do with the ecological aspects of building

  • cost control, contract documents and quantified specifications

  • conservation architecture and creative design in the context of historic buildings.  We have wide-ranging experience in advising clients on alterations and repairs to Listed Properties, backed up by our registration with the AABC as Accredited Conservation Architects
